President's Message for 2023

I am truly honored to be the new president of the South Carolina Society of Echocardiography (SCSE). We had a very successful inaugural symposium held last year at Segra Park, Columbia and we look forward to continuing this year with a great program and speakers lined up for everyone. I hope that everyone is as excited as I am about the conference and definitely look out for the date to block out on your calendars! 

We have a brand new board of directors who are passionate about the vision of the society and elevating it to new heights with their fresh ideas and diverse expertise. One of the things we are planning is in-person social events so that members can network and meet new people in our society. On top of that, we are also planning to offer continuing education opportunities to our members.

I am looking forward to seeing this society mature and establish itself as a prominent voice for our echo community here in South Carolina this year as we solidify our offerings and expand our membership throughout the state. I am aiming for more member engagement and this would not be possible without the help of each and every one of you! We are still looking for volunteers and we encourage members to contact us if you are interested.
