President's Message
Welcome to the South Carolina Society of Echocardiography. Thank you for your interest in our Society. I am honored to be serving as President this year. First, I would like to acknowledge the leadership provided by Jeremy Ng and last years’ Board. I am excited to welcome the new and returning 2024 Board members. I am looking forward to working in conjunction with the 2024 BOD to not only provide a great year of education, networking, and support but to continue to grow our organization. I am thankful for this group of volunteers for taking the time to serve the echocardiography professionals of our great state by supporting our Society. I am also grateful for our members who allow us to enrich the echocardiography community of South Carolina.
The main objective of the SCSE is to provide a unique and united professional organization for the cardiac sonography professionals across South Carolina. We strive to offer diverse and cutting-edge education initiatives, networking opportunities, continuing education offerings, and a quarterly newsletter to keep members updated on the Society’s activities. I am proud of our Society from its founding in 2019, navigating through the uncertainty of COVID, to its current and future growth. We will continue to improve our processes to meet the needs of our members.
Our flagship event is our Annual Symposium held in the fall. This is where our members gather to listen to informative talks from echocardiography experts from the region and connect with vendors to see the latest technological advances. This event is always an enjoyable one for members and our Board. We truly appreciate the fruits of our labor and enjoy interacting with members. We hope you will join us for a great day of camaraderie and learning.
